Beaglin Park Drive Improvements Underway in Salisbury

SALISBURY, Md.- Summertime is road construction season and yet another project is underway. Beginning Monday, July 10, another project will take place on Beaglin Park Drive in Salisbury.

The project is aimed at fixing some of the pot holes in Wicomico County. A private contractor will conduct repaving operations that could affect the flow of traffic along Beaglin Park Drive.

The areas from Hannibal Street to South Schumaker Drive, and from Snow Hill Road to College Lane will experience delays during paving operations.

Mercedes Morgan lives in Berlin but she visits Salisbury three times a week. She's not looking forward to the traffic, the repairs along Beaglin Park Drive may cause.

"It's going to cause a lot of traffic jams and a lot of people aren't going to like it, which I don't like it either," says Morgan.

The city says it has to be done. Beaglin Park Drive is rated as one of the streets that needs repairs the most.

The city of Salisbury says to expect traffic delays 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
