Dover Interfaith Mission for Housing Buys former Islamic Worship Site

DOVER, Del.- The Dover Interfaith Mission for Housing has purchased a former motel near Felton that was used most recently as a place of worship.

The nonprofit bought the former worship site from the Islamic Society of Central Delaware to convert the property into low-rent housing for 20 individuals transitioning out of the group's shelters and into permanent homes.

The $420,000 transaction follows a move from the ISOCDE to a new mosque in the city of Dover.
