NEW CASTLE, Del. (AP) - A man has been arrested in connection with a fatal shooting at an Ogletown apartment complex last month.
New Castle County police say in a statement that 30-year-old Reginald Waters of Dover was arrested Tuesday and charged with first-degree murder in the death of 31-year-old Clifton Thompson.
Police spokeswoman Cpl. Tracey Duffy says Thompson died after he was shot Feb. 27 in the parking lot of the Prides Court apartment complex.
Duffy says Waters was identified early on in the investigation as a suspect in the shooting death.
Waters is also charged with possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony. It isn't immediately clear if he has an attorney.
