BEAR, Del. – Delaware State Police have identified the body of a 19-year-old male found early Thursday morning on a walking trail.
The victim is identified as Brenton A. Mauk, of Bear, Del.
Mauk's body was found by a passerby near a wooded area in the 200 block of Rickey Blvd. at 7:53 a.m. Thursday.
Troopers said preliminary investigation and the autopsy conducted by the Division of Forensic Science reveal no apparent trauma and no evidence of foul play at this time.
The cause and manner of death is pending toxicology results.
Delaware State Police Detectives continue their investigation to determine the circumstances surrounding this incident.
