FENWICK ISLAND, De.- A Fenwick Island home was riddled with gunshots early on Friday morning.
The incident happened around 2:43 a.m. at a home on West Atlantic Street just off of Coastal Highway.
Fenwick Island Police responded, finding several bullet holes in the home, and a Jeep in the driveway set ablaze.
Delaware State Police say four young women leaving Seacrets in Ocean City got into a vehicle with the two suspects. They felt uncomfortable and got out, going to an undisclosed location to ensure they weren't being followed.
The women returned to their home. They later heard banging, which they later realized was gunshots.
The suspects fled, later being caught by Ocean City Police. They are being held by OCPD, awaiting extradition to Delaware.
33-year-old Andre Blakeney of Waldorf, Md. and 27-year-old Finis Miles of Clinton, Md. are facing several charges.
Both will be charged by Delaware State Police with 4 counts of reckless endangerment, criminal mischief, conspiracy and criminal trespass. They also face arson
and conspiracy charges from the Delaware State Fire Marshal's Office.
A neighbor who spoke to WBOC, but did not want to be identified by name says she feared for her safety.
"Anybody could've been hurt. It wasn't just one gunshot, it was several. It's upsetting and scary. A lot of us have bedrooms right on the street, in the forward part of the house. Anyone could've been hurt," she said.
The victims were not injured.
