SALISBURY, Md.- Salisbury's Aldi grocery store gears up for its grand opening this week.
Aldi is set to open on Thursday, Nov. 8 on U.S. Route 13 across the street from Chili's.
Finishing touches were put on the parking lot over the weekend. This newest addition to the north side of Salisbury gives people another grocery store option.
Some people who live nearby, such as Eric Twilley, said the new German grocery store chain will provide more options and be more convenient to those who live in the area.
"Pretty excited," said Twilley. "Something new something different in the area kind of bring some more jobs into this area so kinda excited to check it out and see what they got going on for us."
The store's website revealed there will be prizes and a chance to win free produce for a year at the store in Salisbury.
