WICOMICO COUNTY, Md.- Wicomico County Executive Office has appointed a new director of finance.
Dawn Mitchell Parks will be taking over the position. The County Executive's Office said Parks has been "an integral member of the administration since 2005."
Parks previously served as the Financial Systems Project Manager and the Assistant Director of Finance for Operations. She is currently preparing to become a certified public finance officer.
The County Executive's Office said Parks has been serving as the Director of Finance since May.
