Shooting investigation generic

SALISBURY, MD - The Salisbury Police Department is requesting the public’s help in an investigation into a shooting that left a teen in critical condition early Thursday.

Police say they were called to Tidal Health Peninsula Regional just after midnight on Thursday on reports of a 14-year-old suffering from apparent gunshot wounds. The teen is considered in critical condition but the injuries are not currently life-threatening, according to police. 

Salisbury Police and the Wicomico County Sheriff’s Office are actively investigating the shooting and say they have increased their presence in Salisbury’s Prince Street area.
