OCEAN CITY, Md.- A personal watercraft crash in Ocean City sent two 17-year-old twins to the hospital Monday morning. The accident happened in the water near Harpoon Hanna's and Island Watersports around 10:30 a.m.
According to Maryland Natural Resources Police, the twins were riding together on one jet ski when another 17-year-old driver side swiped them at a high speed.
The 17-year-old twins were taken to Peninsula Regional Medical Center in Salisbury with non-life-threatening injuries, according to police. The other 17-year-old personal watercraft operator was not injured.
Police also said the 17-year-old who hit the personal watercraft is being issued a citation for failure to maintain proper look out.
The personal watercraft were being rented from Island Watersports in Fenwick Island, Delaware.
