Search and Seizure Turns Up Packaged Marijuana

CAMBRIDGE, Md. – Cambridge police say they seized marijuana, drug paraphernalia, and cash during a search and seizure.

Police say as part of an ongoing narcotics investigation, they executed a warrant at 500 Greenwood Ave.

Police say the search turned up a large amount of marijuana packaged and prepared for street sales.

Authorities say four people have been arrested in connection to the seizure:

Malcom S. Batson Jr., Cambridge, 31

Marcus Manokey, Cambridge, 31

Trevon Stubbs, Cambridge, 31

Tyrell Merritt, Cambridge, 24

Batson, Manokey and Merritt were all held in the Dorchester County Detention Center on a $50,000 bond. Stubbs was held on a $20,000 bond.

Police say this is an ongoing investigation into the illegal sales of narcotics in the City of Cambridge and Dorchester County.
