DOVER, Del. - The Dover Police Department is investigating after they say shots were fired outside a Dover McDonald's early Friday morning.
Police say it happened around 1:40 a.m. Friday in the McDonald's parking lot on N. DuPont Highway.
Police say several people, who have not been identified, got into a fight outside of the restaurant when one of them fired multiple shots. Several rounds struck the restaurant's exterior, according to police, but no injuries were reported.
Police say everyone took off before officers arrived on the scene.
