OCEAN CITY, Md.- Set-up is underway for the inaugural Jellyfish Festival in Ocean City.
The three-day event features live music, extreme sports, and other family-friendly activities.
"It really is a music festival you can bring your kids to. Our entertainment is something that -- you know, I have a daughter who's 11. I could bring her down here even if this wasn't my event," said Jellyfish Festival Co-Founder Brad Hoffman.
Meanwhile, businesses hope the big crowds checking out the festival will mean big business for them.
"We are a seasonal business, so that kind of festival helps us a lot," said Ibrahiam Aksut, who works at Piezano's Pizza on the boardwalk.
The Jellyfish Festival runs from June 21-23.
The event is free and open to the public except for a few activities and concerts.
Ticketed concerts are after 5 p.m. Friday and Saturday and after 3 p.m. on Sunday.
