FRANKFORD, DE - The Delaware Office of the State Fire Marshal is investigating a commercial building fire in Sussex County on Wednesday.
The Frankford Volunteer Fire Company says they were dispatched to the fire located at the intersection of Burbage and Jones Road in Frankford around 5:40pm. Additional fire departments include the Millville Volunteer Fire Company, the Dagsboro Volunteer Fire Department, the Roxana Volunteer Fire Company, and the Bethany Beach Volunteer Fire Company.
According to Frankford fire officials, units arrived at the location to find a fully involved garage on fire. It took firefighters about an hour to extinguish the incident.
There are no updates on possible causes or origins of the fire. The scene was turned over to the Delaware Office of the State Fire Marshal and the homeowner.
