Jana Ruark joined WBOC as a News Producer in July 2021, shortly after graduating from the University of Delaware with a degree in Media Communication and a minor in Journalism. She produces our entirely local 6 p.m. newscast and has won three first-place awards from the Chesapeake Associated Press Broadcasters Association since joining Delmarva's News Leader.

SALISBURY, MD- A former Salisbury neighbor is enjoying his time across the pond.
Salisbury Zoo officials say Andean bear Raymi is officially settled in at Zoo Zürich in Switzerland.
Raymi left the Salisbury Zoo in September for his new home. The move is part of work to conserve the Andean bear species.
He was born in Salisbury in January of 2022 to Chaska and Pinocchio. Pinocchio was moved to the Nashville Zoo, while Raymi’s twin, Inti, moved to the Racine Zoo in Wisconsin.
