Amazon Delivery

FELTON, DE - Neighbors in Kent County are expressing frustration and concern as an Amazon delivery driver was witnessed driving directly onto the lawn of their residences. The incident follows a similar occurrence earlier this month in Magnolia - and has since been confirmed as the same driver.

Home Video footage captured the Amazon driver pulling into a driveway before venturing onto the lawn to complete the delivery. After dropping off the packages, the driver executed a turn in the driveway but, inexplicably, traversed the lawn once again. A similar story played out in the Magnolia case.

WBOC reached out to Amazon with the videos, and the company confirmed that it was indeed the same individual involved in both incidents. Amazon provided a statement in response

"This behavior is unacceptable as we expect the drivers who deliver packages on our behalf of Amazon to treat our customers' property if it were their own. We're working with our delivery service partner to investigate the circumstances leading up to this incident and we'll take appropriate actions." (Branden Baribeau, Amazon Spokesperson)

The homeowner, who is left with visible tire tracks across his lawn, say's he just hopes it doesn't happen to anyone else.

"The more people that complain about it, the more likely it is that this person will be stopped and actually respect other people's properties."

In the previous incident in Magnolia, Amazon offered repairs to the lawn and issued the provided the couple an extensive apology.
