Smyrna police arrested Jashuan Johnson in relation to a shooting that happened in Milford on June 19.

MILFORD, Del. - An arrest has been made in relation to a shooting that happened in Milford on June 19.

Milford police say the suspected shooter, Jashaun Johnson of Selbyville, was identified during an investigation. An arrest warrant was obtained on June 21.

Johnson was taken into custody in Smyrna on July 9 by multiple agencies and has been charged with two felonies, including attempted first degree murder and possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony. He was also charged with criminal mischief over $1,000.

A no contact order has been issued between Johnson and the victim. He was committed to the Department of Correction on $551,000 cash bail and will appear in Kent County court at a later date for a preliminary hearing.
