BERLIN, MD - Council members voted to extend the tattoo shop moratorium for another year.
The Berlin Town Council say they facing challenges when it comes to health and safety in regards to tattoo shops. The town has been in talks with the Worcester County Health Department, University of Maryland, and Johns Hopkins to father information.
The town has had a tattoo shop moratorium in place since 2017. The pause is now set to expire in June, 2025.
