Jana Ruark joined WBOC as a News Producer in July 2021 and became Executive Producer in 2025. She graduated from the University of Delaware with a degree in Media Communication and a minor in Journalism. She has produced our entirely local 6 p.m. newscast and has won several first-place awards from the Chesapeake Associated Press Broadcasters Association.

MILFORD, DE- A man's body was found after a large fire near Milford.
The Delaware State Fire Marshal says the fire was burning out of control into the woods behind a home on Big Stone Beach Rd. around 1 p.m. on Wednesday.
The Delaware Division of Forensic Science is working to determine the cause of death and identify the victim.
Foul play is not suspected.
Damage is estimated at $250.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
