FENWICK ISLAND, Del. - Local restaurant Crabcake Factory Bayside is stepping up to help another local restaurant, Mancini's Brick Oven Pizzeria, after a deadly crash through its storefront forced it to close.
Crabcake Factory Bayside is hosting "crabcakin' for a cause" on Sunday, Aug. 23. They say there will be a silent auction, raffle, and live music, with 20% of sales from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. going to Mancini's.
The crash into Mancini's late Friday afternoon killed an 80-year-old woman and seriously hurt her 17-year-old granddaughter.
No charges have been announced yet.
