easton election 2025

EASTON, Md. - Easton's Town Council President Frank Gunsallus has lost a heated battle to keep his seat. Second Ward Councilman Don Abbatiello defeated Gunsallus in Tuesday's election.

The town released unofficial election results late Tuesday night, saying absentee ballots still need to be tallied, but that will not alter the results.

Ward 2 and Ward 4 seats were also up, with Abbatiello vacating his seat in Ward 2, Robert Rankin defeated Lynnette Keefe.

In Ward 4, incumbent Councilman Elmer Davis beat challengers Moonyene Jackson-Amis and Cameron Keefe.
