Frankford Volunteer Fire Company Employs New Lifesaving Equipment

The Frankford Volunteer Fire Company announced it recently acquired a set of six battery-operated hydraulic rescue tools. 

FRANKFORD, DE– The Frankford Volunteer Fire Company (FVFD) announced it recently acquired a set of six battery-operated hydraulic rescue tools. 

The equipment includes metal cutters, spreaders, rammers and combination tools which perform all three functions, commonly known as the Jaws of Life.

FVFD says the Town of Frankford assisted with the purchase of the upgraded tools which will help crews safely and effectively perform rescue operations.
