FREDERICA, DE - Delaware State Police are investigating a fatal motorcycle crash that left one man dead in Frederica on Thursday morning.

Police say a Ford F-150 was stopped at a stop sign on Barratts Chapel Road and Old Beach Road on May 1 just before 5:45 a.m. At the same time, a Harley Davidson was driving south on Old Beach Road approaching the intersection. Police say the F-150 then entered the intersection to turn onto Old Beach Road, driving in front of the motorcycle. The motorcycle then hit the truck’s passenger side, ejecting the driver.

The motorcyclist, a 37-year-old Magnolia man, died at a nearby hospital. His identity is currently being withheld. 

The driver of the F-150, a 39-year-old Felton man, was not injured. 

Delaware State Police ask anyone who witnessed this crash to call them at 302-698-8451.
