MILFORD, Del. – The Griffith Lake boat ramp and adjacent parking lot will close Aug. 17 for a dam safety project expected to last through the end of 2027.
DNREC said the ramp will remain closed while its Dam Safety Program reconstructs the spillway at Griffith Lake Dam.
DNREC Fisheries officials recommend anglers use the Hearns Pond or Blairs Pond boat ramps, which are the nearest alternatives for launching boats in the Milford area.
The project is expected to be completed by December 2027.
