DELAWARE - Changes are being made to DART bus procedures as the state continues to enact stricter measures to ensure social distancing and better-protect passengers and bus operators.

According to the Delaware Transit Corporation, or DTC, DART will limit the number of passengers allowed on each bus at any given time. Passenger boarding will be through the rear door with fares waived. However, riders requiring boarding assistance will still be able to board through the front door.

DART will also run additional timing buses and have additional operators on standby.

The changes start Thursday, April 2.
