OCEAN CITY, Md. -- The 2018 White Marlin Open is in the books. Angler Pascual Jimenez is the big winner of the White Marlin after his catch today.

Jimenez brought in an 83 lb. White marlin today, tying Gregory Giron who caught the same size fish Thursday. We're told that Giron used a gaffe to catch his White marlin, while Jimenez didn't -- a tie-breaker that cast Jimenez into the number one spot.

Jimenez, an angler from Mexico aboard the Weldor's Ark out of North Carolina, is looking at an estimated prize of more than $2.5 million.

Giron's 83 lb. White marlin is worth an estimated prize of more than $129,000.

As for the blue marlin, Joe Rahman takes home the top spot with an 881 lb. fish that was caught on Monday. His prize money is estimated at more than $924,000.

In the tuna, Gary Sansburry is the category winner with his 75.5 tuna. The Florida native on a boat based out of Ocean City has a prize estimated more than $135,000.

382 boats went out on Friday.
