POCOMOKE CITY, MD.- Monday night, Pocomoke City's Christmas Parade will transform the city into a “Winter Wonderland” as the town hosts one of Delmarva’s largest nighttime Christmas parades.
The parade is still on and will start as scheduled at 7 p.m. Earlier Monday, there was some confusion after an outdated article was shared on Facebook. The article was from 2007, when the parade was cancelled due to unfavorable weather conditions.
According to parade officials, the event is always held on the first Monday night after Thanksgiving and attracts over 100 participants from across Delmarva.
The parade starts on Market Street beginning at 14th Street and ending at the Pocomoke River Bridge.
