Rosenfeld's is Coming to Salisbury Airport

REHOBOTH, Del.- A local favorite will be landing in Salisbury Airport later this year. Rosenfeld's Jewish Deli is set to open a new location in the terminal in October of this year.

"We're still waiting for confirmation from the county but, we're excited about this. We have a nice following in Salisbury that's been asking for us to go there for a while now," says Warren Rosenfeld, owner of the deli.

Rosenfeld says they hope to open in early October.

"This is an opportunity where they have the space already done. The only thing we have to do is to put the Rosenfeld touches we want," he added.

This would be the third location of the Jewish deli in Delmarva. Rosenfeld says they'll offer a smaller menu that will include everyone's favorites.

" we will probably have between 15 and 20 hot and cold sandwiches," says Rosenfeld. "We will have Reuben and things people are used to but, it won't be our extensive menu," he adds.

Rosenfeld says the goal is to, later on, serve wine and beer at the airport location.

"Anybody that lives in the greater Salisbury area that wants to make this their Rosenfeld's they're going to be able to. They can eat in, they'll be able to call in and carry out. No different than any other Rosenfeld's," he says.
