GREENWOOD, Del.- Delaware State Police have released the name of a driver killed in a weekend car crash on Route 13 in Greenwood.

Troopers identified the victim as 33-year-old Brooks S. Perry, of Camden-Wyoming, Del.

Police said the accident happened at around 6 p.m. Saturday, when a Kia subcompact car traveling southbound on Route 13 and preparing to turn left pulled out into the path of a northbound Ford SUV. The Ford rolled over several times before resting upside down in the southbound lane.

Police say Perry, who was driving the Ford, was pronounced dead at the scene, while a male passenger was ejected from the vehicle. Police reported the passenger was in critical condition at Christiana Hospital.

The driver of the Kia, a 70-year-old woman of Greenwood, was treated for non-life-threatening injuries and released, according to police.
