EASTON, Md.- Deputies in Talbot County took kids out shopping in Easton for the annual "Shop With A Cop" event. On Saturday, Dec. 14, deputies with the Talbot County Sheriff's Office volunteered time to take children in the area Christmas shopping at the Easton Walmart, according to the department's Facebook page. Pictures show over a dozen kids smiling and shopping alongside deputies as they picked out new items. Following the shopping trip, deputies took the kids back to the Elk's Lodge to treat them with lunch as they wrapped their new gifts, according to the post. Deputies partnered with the Talbot County Optomist Club.
