SALISBURY, Md.- After 29 years at the Centre at Salisbury mall, Macy's department store says it will close its doors by March.
Store employees were notified Monday about the decision to close, according to a Macy's spokesperson. Regular, non-seasonal employees will be eligible for severance, including outplacement resources.
A clearance sale will begin in January 2020 and run for approximately eight to 12 weeks, according to Macy's corporate officials.
Macy's will be the second anchor store at the Centre at Salisbury to close in less than a year's time. Sears closed its doors in March.
