Police: Boy Accidentally Shot While Playing With Gun

PARSONSBURG, Md.- Maryland State Police are investigating the death of two people after they were ejected from a motorcycle in Parsonsburg late Tuesday night.

Just before 10 p.m. Tuesday night, troopers responded to Route 346 at Broad Street for a motorcycle crash. Following investigation, police say it was revealed a 2017 Harley Davidson driving westbound lost control and went off the roadway as it approached Broad Street.

The driver, 24-year-old Joseph Shane Hill of Salisbury, and passenger, 24-year-old Deanna Melton of Parsonsburg, were both ejected from the motorcycle and died on the scene. 

The roadway was shut down for about three hours Tuesday night while the crash was investigated and cleared.
