WICOMICO COUNTY, MD.- A Salisbury man has been convicted of armed robbery and related charges following a one-day trial.
Prosecutors say a jury found Milton Harmon Jr., 54, guilty on Wednesday. Harmon is being held in custody pending sentencing.
Officials say on April 20th, Harmon went into the Hampton Inn in Fruitland with a bandana over his face and demanded money from the front desk clerk while wielding a fixed-blade knife. After taking the money, he left toward North Dulaney Avenue and attempted to get rid of the evidence. Harmon was found about 30 minutes later and was arrested following a foot chase with officers.
