SALISBURY, Md. - The Maryland Department of Health announced the 2026 Lower Eastern Shore Car Seat Checks has been rescheduled to this Tuesday, Aug. 18.
Officials say anyone can come for a free one-on-one with a certified child passenger safety technician, who will complete a car seat check and teach correct installation and use.
It will be held at the Salisbury City Fire Department Station 16 on Cypress Street from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. and 3 p.m. to 6 p.m.
They will also be doing the car seat checks in Berlin on Sept. 1, Princess Anne on Nov. 7, and again in Salisbury on Oct. 6.
