CENTREVILLE, Md. – The Maryland State Highway Administration today announced an upcoming road resurfacing project in Queen Anne’s County.
The project focuses on a 1.7-mile stretch of MD-304, also known as Ruthsburg Road, between US-301 (Blue Star Memorial Highway) to Kidwell Avenue.
Construction is set to begin Sunday and conclude by the end of October, weather permitting. Crews will work overnight from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. to minimize impacts to local school traffic, according to a press release.
The SHA says motorists will encounter single-lane closures and flagging operations, as well as cones and barrels to protect both drivers and workers.
Drivers are urged to stay alert and focused, look for changes in driving patterns or signage and slow down in construction zones.
