MARYLAND– MDOT announced several upcoming road improvement projects on Maryland's Eastern Shore ahead of the summer travel season.
Maryland's Department of Transportation says drivers should expect single-lane closures from 6:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. as crews perform milling, resurfacing and restriping throughout May and June in the following areas:
- Crisfield – MD 667 (Hudson Corner Road) from the state maintenance line to Marion Road – starting May 1
- Cambridge – US 50 (Ocean Gateway) from Bucktown Road to Austin Road – starting May 7
- Wicomico County – Mt. Hermon Road from Sayers Road to Powellville Road – starting May 8
- Worcester County – US 113 southbound (Worcester Highway) from Shiloh Farms Road to Langmaid Road – starting May 15
- Somerset County – US 13 northbound (Ocean Highway) from the Pocomoke River to Costen Road – starting May 30
