MDOT Zero Deaths Maryland

ANNAPOLIS, MD – The Maryland Department of Transportation (MDOT) announced the Highway Safety Office’s 20th Annual Maryland Remembers event will take place Nov. 21 at 5 p.m.

MDOT invites friends and families of Maryland crash victims to the event which honors those whose lives were altered by a crash. 

There were 564 fatalities on Maryland roads last year, according to MDOT – a number the Highway Safety Office seeks to reduce in future years. 

The event will include a memorial procession, speakers’ remarks and refreshments.
