MILLSBORO, DE - Police arrested a man after they say he threatened neighbors during a party.
Delaware State Police arrested 56-year-old Harry Hudson, of Millsboro, on March 22. Police say they responded to Gravel Hill Road around 11:25 p.m. for a report of disorderly conduct and shots fired. Troopers say Hudson approached a party at a neighboring home and behaved in a disorderly manner with several people, which led the homeowner to ask him to leave.
Troopers say Hudson returned a short time later with a large dog and made threatening statements. Hudson was reportedly asked to leave again. While leaving, troopers say Hudson removed a handgun that was concealed under his clothes and kept it in his hand while walking away.
A few minutes later, the party attendees reportedly heard gunshots near Hudson’s property, followed by Hudson yelling threats.
Troopers say they located Hudson in his driveway shouting obscenities and arrested him without incident. While taking Hudson into custody, troopers reportedly found a loaded gun on the ground near Hudson.
A computer inquiry of Hudson revealed he is a convicted felon and is prohibited from possessing firearms and ammunition. Hudson was taken to Troop 4, where he was charged with the crimes listed below, arraigned by Justice of the Peace Court 7, and released on a $21,050 unsecured bond.
