DNREC Begins Mosquito Spraying Throughout Delaware

DORCHESTER COUNTY- Mosquito spraying is planned to start in the evening of October 7th in Dorchester County.

Officials with the Maryland Department of Agriculture say areas in Fishing Creek, Hooperville, and Hoopers Island will be treated. They say about 3,400 acres will be sprayed.

According to the Department of Ag, people, pets, or livestock do not need to leave the area.
