Bethany Fire

BETHANY BEACH, De. - An early Wednesday morning fire damaged 6 townhomes in Bethany Beach. Those living inside the homes were able to escape without injury. 

Bethany Beach Fire Chief Tyler Hickman tells WBOC the fire broke out around 2:00 AM and took crews 90 minutes to extinguish. In addition to the Bethany Beach Fire Company, fire crews from Ocean City, Millsboro, Dagsboro and Roxana worked to put out the fire. By 6:30 AM all crews had left the scene. 

The Delaware Fire Marshal is now investigating the cause of the Bethany Beach fire.
