Jana Ruark joined WBOC as a News Producer in July 2021 and became Executive Producer in 2025. She graduated from the University of Delaware with a degree in Media Communication and a minor in Journalism. She has produced our entirely local 6 p.m. newscast and has won several first-place awards from the Chesapeake Associated Press Broadcasters Association.

CRISFIELD, MD- A replica of a historic ship will soon dock in Crisfield.
The Nao Trinidad is a replica of Portuguese explorer Ferdinand Magellan’s sixteenth century sailing vessel – the flagship of the Magellan-Elcano Expedition which circumnavigated the globe in 1519.
Visitors can check out the Nao Trinidad at the Somers Cove Marina starting Wednesday, Sept. 25th through the 29th, weather permitting.
