DOVER, DE - The old ACME building will be turned into new residential housing and commercial spaces.

The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency announced the project, saying it is being supported through EPA Brownfields funding. DNREC used EPA Brownfields funding to conduct a Phase II environmental assessment on the site prior to demolition of the structures.

The EPA also says Downtown Dover is using Brownfields funding to continue nearby projects as part of the larger Capital City 2030 master plan for downtown revitalization.
