Deadly Shooting

DOVER, DE - Dover Police are investigating a shooting Thursday night that took the life of a 42-year-old man and injured a 59-year-old man. 

The Dover Police Department says they were called to Ann Avenue around 8:45 p.m. on December 14th on reports of a shooting. There, they found the two victims both suffering from gunshot wounds to the upper body. Both were taken to a nearby hospital where the 42-year-old died from his injuries. His identity has not yet been released, pending notification to his family 

Police say the 59-year-old is in stable condition.

There are currently no leads in this homicide investigation, according to police, and no suspect description. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Dover Police Department at 302-736-7130.
