SEAFORD, Del. - Police are searching for a man suspected in an attempted robbery and shooting investigation.

Delaware State Police have an arrest warrant for 22-year-old Arturo Morgado-Sanchez, of Greenwood.

State police say Morgado-Sanchez was involved in an incident on Aug. 21. According to investigators, a 26-year-old man was walking on Brickyard Road near the Mobile Gardens community around 8:30 p.m. when a truck stopped behind him. Police say the suspect, who is known to the victim and identified as Arturo Morgado-Sanchez, got out of the truck, demanded the victim’s property, and shot him.

The victim was taken by private vehicle to Tidal Health Nanticoke and treated for a non-life threatening gunshot wound.

Detectives are asking anyone with information on Morgado-Sanchez’s whereabouts to call 911.
