WILMINGTON, Del.- Delaware Gov. John Carney on Wednesday announced that former Vice President Joe Biden has endorsed the governor’s re-election campaign. Biden released the following statement: "I have known John Carney for nearly four decades and throughout his career in elected office he has fought hard for working families because he believes - like I do - that all Delawareans deserve a fair shot to succeed. He knows that a job is about more than a paycheck, and that every child deserves a world-class education. "Governor Carney has been a real leader for Delaware through this COVID-19 crisis. He has listened to the experts, followed the science, and focused on protecting lives."
