LONG NECK, Del. - The Consumer Protection Unit from the Delaware DOJ is pursuing criminal charges against a Sussex County-based contractor that has been accused of defrauding multiple homeowners in Delaware.
Sergio Izzo of Lewes, Delaware, currently has pending charges related to theft and fraud. Izzo worked with Izzo & Son Turf Company, LLC based out of Long Neck.
According to Police, Izzo allegedly accepted payments from several different victims for home improvement works that he then did not complete or provide refunds for. The charges are also related to allegations that unauthorized charges were made to customer's credit cards and for failed payments for materials that he ordered.
