HARBESON, Del. -- Delaware State Police said a Georgetown woman is facing endangerment charges after she allegedly tried to run someone over with her car but hit a house and another car instead.
It happened Monday around 8 p.m. at a home on the 28000 block of Harmon Drive.
According to police, 34-year-old Rachel J. Holland got into an argument with a 40-year-old woman. The victim told police that she asked Holland to leave her home. At that time, police said Holland got into her car and tried to run the victim over, who was standing between the car and her home. DSP said Holland missed the victim, and hit the house.
State police said Holland tried to hit the victim a total of four times, two of which Holland missed and hit the house, and the other two times Holland missed and hit a parked car.
After the fourth attempt, police said Holland took off. Troopers found Holland in her car, stuck in a ditch a short distance from the home.
She was arrested and charged with four counts of reckless endangering. She was arraigned and committed to the Delores J. Baylor Women’s Correctional Institution on $10,000.00 secured bond.
