FARMINGTON, Del. - It may be one of Delaware's smallest towns, but organizers of Farmington Day say there's a lot of history to celebrate.
The event taking place throughout the day on Saturday will feature kids activities, a small carnival, food vendors, and other attractions, according to Mayor Richie Smith.
The event is being used as a fundraiser for the town's former school house, an old building that town officials say is historic.
Town officials are also dedicating the new pavilion behind the fire house and a community library.
