State Police Searching for Gas Station Burglary Suspect in Felton

FELTON, Del.- State Police seeking the public's assistance in identifying a burglary suspect that happened on Saturday.

On March 23, 2019 just after 4 a.m., troopers responded to Goose Creek gas station on Dupont Highway in Felton for a commercial alarm.

After investigation, troopers say they discovered that a suspect used an unknown tool to break the glass and enter the store.

Once inside the unidentified suspect took several boxes of cigarettes. The suspect also attempted to break into the ATM machine but was unsuccessful.

The suspect left the scene on foot and was last seen near Memorial Drive and Sanford Street in the same town.

The cigarettes were recovered near the scene according to police.

Police describe the suspect as "a white male wearing a hoodie tight to his face and dark pants".
