Troopers identified the victim as Nathaniel Montgomery, 63, of Rock Hall, Md.
Police said the incident occurred around 9 p.m. Saturday June 26 as Montgomery was operating a 2009 Nissan Altima southbound on Bay Road SR 1 and approaching Exit 88 toward Magnolia.

The driver of the Ford Flex was able to remain in control of the vehicle and come to a controlled stop on the northbound shoulder of S.R. 1.
The Altima continued in a southerly direction and struck the Toyota Camry head-on.
Police said Montgomery was not properly restrained and was taken to Bayhealth Kent General where he later died.
The 25-year-old man was wearing a seatbelt and was not injured in the collision.
The 59-year-old man was wearing a seatbelt and was taken to Bayhealth Kent General where he was treated and admitted for non-life-threatening injuries.
