OCEAN CITY, Md.- The OC Airshow will be held over the beach and boardwalk in Ocean City this weekend, for two days of family fun featuring a lineup of world-class military and civilian performers.
The U.S. Air Force Thunderbirds headline the show each day with a performance demonstrating the capabilities of current generation fighters. Spectators can witness the capabilities of the team’s signature red, white, and blue F-16 aircraft known as the “Fighting Falcon.”
The GEICO Skytypers Air Show Team will also take flight during the air show. The squadron of six World War II-era aircraft will perform their aerobatic precision flying demonstration twice during the weekend. In celebration of Father’s Day, the team of aviators will skytype special tributes honoring dads prior to their performances on Saturday and Sunday.
Other performers include the F-22 Raptor Demo Team, the A-10 Thunderbolt II, the SOCOM Para-Commandos, aerobatic pilot Mike Wiskus, the C-17 Globemaster III, the L-39 Cold War Era Jet Demo, Air Force Heritage Flight, and the UH-72A Lakota.
The OC Air Show's central location is on the beach between 15th and 17th streets.
